Running a club goes beyond results on the pitch: fewer volunteers, a supporter experience to look after, new revenue to find. AS Beauvais Oise (ASBO), in the French fourth tier, shows that shift through Sfeira's online ticketing and gamification.
A club with history and real ambition
Founded in 1945 and a second-division side in the 2000s, ASBO has played in the French fourth tier since 2021. Nearly 500 licensed members and only two administrative staff: the club relies heavily on its volunteers. Paul Coiffier, head of communications: « The
Before Sfeira, ticketing ate the time
« Before, we had to print every ticket ahead of the match. We received sheets, we had to cut them all out and prepare them. It took an enormous amount of time. »
With Sfeira, ticketing that changes everything
The switch came in December 2024: purchase in a few clicks, QR code, paperless entry. « Getting into the ground is far quicker: volunteers scan the tickets with the app. We no longer have long queues. »
A direct impact on attendance
« We normally drew 300-400 people per match. For the first match, we were at 700, and the last one 650. » A rise driven by social content, the new ticketing system and results on the pitch.
Gamification to build engagement
For its 80th anniversary, the club rolled out online quizzes, golden tickets, a raffle and a pitch-side game. « Sfeira genuinely brought ideas to the table. The team handled almost everything: even the quiz questions were written by them. »
« What is great is that we progress together. »
