A side project by Sfeira, built through a research collaboration: measuring player load and turning it into decision support for amateur football.
What MyMister does
After every session, the player gets a notification and answers in seconds on how hard it felt. MyMister collects that, feeds it into the club's back office and gives it back readable, week after week. No sensors to fit, nobody to chase.
The need is easy to state: by November, nobody remembers who was in form in September. MyMister documents the squad as it is, not as it is remembered.
A side project, not a Sfeira product
MyMister is built alongside the Sfeira platform, with its own site and its own pricing. We present it here because it shares our users — clubs — and because it rests on research work we want to make visible.
A research collaboration
The project is carried by a collaboration between Sfeira and:
- URePSSS — Unité de Recherche Pluridisciplinaire Sport, Santé, Société (ULR 7369), a research unit shared between the University of Lille, the University of Artois and the Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale.
- The University of Lille.
- CITC — Centre d'Innovation des Technologies sans Contact, a centre of expertise in IoT, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, based at EuraTechnologies in Lille.
- EDIH GreenPowerIT Hauts-de-France — the European Digital Innovation Hub for artificial intelligence, IoT and cybersecurity.
The first clubs to try it
The protocol was tested in the field with clubs that opened their training sessions to us. These are not commercial references: they are the clubs that agreed to test the data collection, and to discuss its limits with us.
The SFEIRAINDEX study
The work comes with a study of the factors behind a player's move up a division, run on public, pseudonymised data, with the approval of the University of Lille research ethics committee.
